The Town of Fairfax is served by the Northern Tier Center for Health (NOTCH) that operates the Fairfax Pharmacy (802-849-2101) and primary care provider practice: 
Fairfax Health Center (802-849-2844).  Northern Tier Center for Health (NOTCH) is a mission driven primary care practice with a focus on quality and continuity of care. We are a not-for-profit corporation governed by a community-based Board of Directors whose mission is to provide high-quality care in Vermont’s Franklin and Grand Isle counties.

NOTCH’s team of compassionate and devoted health care professionals and support staff develop long-term relationships with patients, often serving multi-generational families. The organization offers a full spectrum of health care services, including family medicine, internal medicine, behavioral health, pharmacy, lab, and general dentistry.

NMCThe Northwestern Medical Center (NMC), our community hospital, is located in the adjacent town of St. Albans. NMC has been named one of the Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in the nation (multiple times, most recently in 2019) by the The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

Franklin County Home Health Agency, a home based health care team, provide services including a full range of rehabilitation therapies, hospice, and palliative care.

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS),  provides intervention and support to children, adolescents, and adults with emotional and behavioral problems, mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or developmental delays.
